各位弟兄姊妹平安!
今天我們繼續分享《路加福音》第九章的第二部分,特別是耶穌登山變相的事件。我們要來探討耶穌如何在山上顯現祂原本的榮耀,使門徒親眼目睹這超自然的景象,以及這個事件的深刻含義。
耶穌登山變相——顯示祂的榮耀
八天後,耶穌帶著 彼得、約翰、雅各 上山禱告。就在這時,祂的面貌改變,衣服潔白放光,顯出天上的榮耀。
更奇妙的是,此時出現了兩位偉大的先知——摩西與以利亞!
這兩位人物對猶太人來說,具有極為崇高的地位:
摩西——他是帶領以色列人出埃及、過紅海的領袖,也是律法的代表。他曾親自上西奈山領受上帝的誡命,並引導以色列百姓進入應許之地。
以利亞——他是舊約中最偉大的先知之一,被稱為「烈火先知」。他曾在迦密山上與四百名巴力先知對決,呼求上帝從天降火,證明耶和華是真神。他最特別的是,他未經死亡便被火車火馬接升天,成為彌賽亞時代即將來臨的象徵。
對於從小熟讀舊約律法的猶太人來說,摩西和以利亞的地位是無可比擬的。所以,當彼得、雅各、約翰看到這個景象時,他們的內心必定極為震撼和激動!
彼得的衝動回應
當彼得看到這一幕,他立刻說:「夫子,我們在這裡真好!我們搭三座棚,一座為你,一座為摩西,一座為以利亞。」(路加福音 9:33)
彼得這番話其實流露出他對耶穌的誤解,他仍然把耶穌與摩西、以利亞並列,沒有意識到耶穌的超越性。彼得表達出來的理解,似乎有一點點覺得這兩位先知比耶穌還偉大,這可能是他從小學習到的事情,自然流露出來的態度。
然而,就在這時,上帝親自介入,從雲中發聲:「這是我的愛子,你們要聽他!」(路加福音 9:35)
這句話強調了耶穌的獨特地位——祂不是僅僅一位偉大的先知,而是神的兒子,遠超過摩西與以利亞。上帝也知道普通猶太人看到這一幕可能也都是類似的反應。但耶穌的超然是遠超過所有先知,上帝要門徒明白,律法(摩西)與先知(以利亞)都指向耶穌,但如今,他們要專心聆聽耶穌的話,因為祂才是最終的啟示。
登山變相的意義
這件事情象徵著:
耶穌的榮耀本質——祂不是普通的人,而是天上的君王,擁有神聖的榮耀。
律法與先知的總結——摩西代表律法,以利亞代表先知,而耶穌是這一切的應驗,祂來成就舊約的一切預言。
天父的認可——上帝親自宣告:「這是我的愛子,你們要聽他!」這意味著門徒們要順服耶穌的教導,因為祂的話語帶有終極的權柄。
山上的一瞥,是未來榮耀的展示。
從山上到山下——回歸使命
當異象結束後,耶穌帶著門徒下山。這裡其實也有一個重要的象徵意義——信仰不只是停留在屬靈高峰的經驗,而是要回到現實世界,面對挑戰,完成使命。
我們可能也曾有過靈性特別火熱、對信仰充滿熱情的時刻,但我們不能一直停留在「山頂」的經歷,而是要走下山,回到現實世界,活出信仰。
得道是為了宣道,蒙福是為了分享。
耶穌並沒有讓門徒停留在榮耀的山上,而是帶領他們回到人群,回到需要的地方。這提醒我們,信仰的目的不只是個人的靈性提升,更是要為世界帶來改變。
從三十七節開始,我們看到當耶穌一回到山下,麻煩就來了。
這就像我們的信仰旅程一樣,我們可能在讀經、禱告的時候,與上帝非常親密,感受到極大的感動與喜樂,但我們終究還是要回到現實的世界,回到我們的日常生活。
而當我們回到生活中,麻煩就會接踵而至,這時候才是真正考驗並鍛造我們信仰的關鍵時刻。
山下的混亂——趕不走的污鬼
當耶穌回到山下,馬上有一個人向祂大聲呼求:「夫子,求你救我的兒子!」(路加福音 9:38)
這個孩子被污鬼附身,情況非常嚴重,污鬼讓孩子不斷受傷,甚至折磨得倒地打滾,場面極其混亂。
然而,這個父親在求耶穌的時候,還特別加上了一句話:「你的門徒不能趕出那污鬼。」(路加福音 9:40)
這句話讓我們看見當時的場面有多麼尷尬與混亂——
一個孩子在地上痛苦地掙扎,場面驚恐萬分。
群眾四周圍觀,議論紛紛,氣氛混亂。
門徒站在一旁,困惑不解,因為他們本來也擁有趕鬼的權柄,現在卻毫無作用!
為什麼門徒趕不走污鬼?
門徒之前已經受過耶穌的差遣,他們有權柄趕鬼、醫病、傳福音,但這一次,他們卻束手無策。
發生了什麼事呢?
馬太福音 17:19-20 提到,當門徒私下問耶穌:「我們為什麼趕不出這鬼呢?」耶穌回答:「是因為你們的信心小。」馬可福音 9:29》記載,耶穌說:「非用禱告,這類的鬼總不能出去。」
信仰不能僅僅是頭腦的知識
門徒曾經親身經歷神蹟,但這一次的失敗提醒了他們——信仰不能只建立在過去的經驗,而是要不斷地更新、倚靠上帝。權柄不是一成不變的,而是與信心有關——門徒或許已經習慣使用「趕鬼的能力」,但忘記了能力的源頭是來自上帝。信仰不能只停留在過去的經驗,必須不斷與上帝連結——門徒可能因為之前趕鬼成功,而開始倚靠自己的能力,而不是依靠上帝。靈性征戰需要更多禱告與預備——《這意味著某些屬靈的爭戰,需要更多的屬靈操練,包括禱告與禁食。
耶穌沒有責備這個父親,也沒有責備這個孩子,而是對門徒和圍觀的群眾說了一句話:「唉!這又不信又悖謬的世代,我在你們這裡忍耐到幾時呢?」(路加福音 9:41)
這句話的意思是——
這個世代充滿懷疑與悖逆,人們看見神蹟卻仍然不信。
門徒的信心仍然不夠穩固,他們需要更多的學習與成長。
信仰不是一次性的經驗,而是需要不斷操練的旅程。
今日的屬靈反思:我們是否真正認識耶穌的榮耀? 今天的我們,是否仍然只把耶穌當作偉大的教師、先知,卻淡忘了祂是唯一的救主?是沒有人可以相比的那一位?
我們是否願意「下山」,回到世界中活出信仰?我們在服事的過程中,是否有不斷回到上帝面前,每天重複地尋求,時刻紀念一切的能力來自於他?

Dear brothers and sisters, peace be with you!
Today, we continue our sharing of the second part of Luke Chapter 9, focusing particularly on the Transfiguration of Jesus. We are going to explore how Jesus revealed His inherent glory on the mountain, allowing the disciples to witness this supernatural spectacle with their own eyes, as well as the profound meaning behind this event.
Jesus Transfigures Himself—Revealing His Glory
Eight days later, Jesus took Peter, John, and James up the mountain to pray. At that moment, His appearance was transformed; His face shone radiantly and His garments became dazzlingly white, manifesting the glory of heaven.
Even more miraculously, at that time two great prophets appeared—Moses and Elijah! For the Jewish people, these two figures held extremely exalted positions:
Moses—He led the Israelites out of Egypt and through the Red Sea, and he was the representative of the Law. He personally ascended Mount Sinai to receive God’s commandments and guided the Israelites into the Promised Land.
Elijah—One of the greatest prophets of the Old Testament, known as the “prophet of fire.” He confronted four hundred prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, calling on God to send down fire from heaven to prove that the LORD is the true God. Most remarkably, Elijah was taken up into heaven by a chariot of fire, becoming a symbol of the coming Messiah’s age.
For those Jews who had studied the Old Testament law from childhood, the stature of Moses and Elijah was incomparable. Therefore, when Peter, James, and John saw this vision, their hearts must have been greatly stirred and excited!
Peter’s Impulsive Response
When Peter saw this scene, he immediately said, “Lord, it is good for us to be here! Let us make three shelters—one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” (Luke 9:33)Peter’s words revealed a misunderstanding of Jesus; he still placed Jesus on the same level as Moses and Elijah, not realizing the transcendent nature of Jesus. His response seemed to suggest that he regarded these two prophets as possibly greater than Jesus—a view likely influenced by what he had learned from a young age.
However, at that moment, God Himself intervened, speaking from the cloud: “This is My beloved Son; listen to Him!” (Luke 9:35)This declaration emphasized Jesus’ unique status—He is not merely a great prophet, but the Son of God, far surpassing Moses and Elijah. God knew that ordinary Jews might have similar reactions, but Jesus’ supremacy goes far beyond all the prophets. God wanted the disciples to understand that the Law (represented by Moses) and the Prophets (represented by Elijah) all pointed to Jesus, and now they must focus on listening to His words, for He is the ultimate revelation.
The Significance of the Transfiguration
This event symbolizes that:
Jesus’ inherent glory—He is not an ordinary man, but a heavenly King who possesses divine glory.
The culmination of the Law and the Prophets—Moses represents the Law, Elijah represents the Prophets, and Jesus is the fulfillment of all that, coming to accomplish every prophecy of the Old Testament.
The Father’s affirmation—God Himself declares, “This is My beloved Son; listen to Him!” This means that the disciples must obey Jesus’ teachings because His words carry ultimate authority.
The glimpse on the mountain is a display of future glory.
From the Mountain to the Valley—Returning to the Mission
When the vision ended, Jesus brought the disciples down the mountain. This also carries an important symbolic meaning—faith is not just about experiencing spiritual highs, but about returning to the real world, facing challenges, and fulfilling our mission.
We may have moments of intense spiritual intimacy and joy during Bible study, prayer, and worship, but we must eventually return to our daily lives and face the challenges therein.And when we return to life, troubles inevitably follow. It is at these moments that our faith is truly tested and refined.
The Chaos in the Valley—The Intractable Demon
When Jesus returned from the mountain, a man immediately cried out to Him, “Lord, please save my son!” (Luke 9:38)This child was tormented by a demon, suffering greatly—he was writhing on the ground in pain, creating an atmosphere of utter chaos.However, when the father pleaded with Jesus, he added, “Your disciples cannot drive out this demon.” (Luke 9:40)This statement reveals how confused and chaotic the scene had become:
A child was writhing in agony on the ground, a scene of horror.
The crowd around murmured and stirred in confusion.
The disciples, standing nearby, were utterly perplexed, for they had once possessed the authority to cast out demons, but now found themselves powerless!
Why Could the Disciples Not Cast Out the Demon?The disciples had already been sent out by Jesus with the authority to cast out demons, heal the sick, and preach the gospel, yet this time they were completely helpless.What had happened?In Matthew 17:19-20, when the disciples privately asked Jesus, “Why can’t we cast out this demon?”Jesus replied, “Because of your little faith.”Similarly, in Mark 9:29, Jesus stated, “This kind can come out only by prayer.”
Faith is not merely intellectual knowledge. Although the disciples had witnessed miracles firsthand, this failure reminded them that faith must not rest solely on past experiences; it must be continually renewed and rooted in dependence on God.Authority is not unchanging, but is connected to our faith—perhaps the disciples had grown complacent from past successes and had begun to rely on their own abilities instead of continuously relying on God.Spiritual warfare requires continuous prayer and preparation—a lesson that reminds us of the necessity for ongoing spiritual discipline.
Jesus did not rebuke the father or the child; instead, He said to the disciples and the onlookers, “Alas, you unbelieving and perverse generation, how long shall I stay with you?” (Luke 9:41)This statement implies that:
This generation is full of doubt and rebellion; even when people witness miracles, they still do not believe.
The disciples’ faith remains fragile; they need to learn and grow further.
Faith is not a one-time experience but a journey requiring continual discipline.
Today's Spiritual Reflection
Do we truly recognize the glory of Jesus?Are we today still treating Jesus merely as a great teacher or prophet, forgetting that He is the one and only Savior—beyond compare?Are we willing to “descend the mountain” and live out our faith in the real world?In our ministry, do we consistently return to God, seeking and remembering that all authority comes from Him?
